The New CCCApply online admissions application to college is here! Join us for three new webinar sessions showcasing the features and benefits of the new CCCApply for students, staff and IT administrators in the California Community Colleges system.

Beginning in February and running through April, we'll meet the first Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each month, at varying times, to ensure that these valuable sessions meet your schedule. All sessions are FREE, and pre-registration is NOT required.

New CCCApply Webinar Series

Part I: The Student Experience

Join us for a two-hour Q&A exploration of the new CCCApply online admissions application from the student perspective! Beginning with a high-level slide presentation outlining the overall project, we'll field your questions as we explore the new standard application with "baked in" Spanish-language Hover Help, and introduce the new 24/7 Helpdesk, operated by ACS Xerox, and explore the new community-powered online support service.

We will also cover in this session:
  • Creating an OpenCCC student account - the CCC federated identity initiative - and understanding the time-saving benefits for A/R (reducing errors, duplicates and tedium of reentry);
  • Starting, saving, and submitting a new CCCApply college application;
  • Navigating the new streamlined and user-friendly interface;
  • Exploring CCCHelp - the new CCC online student support community.

Part II: CCCApply Staff Tools

Using the new CCC Report Center, an integrated module of the new CCCApply, creating a custom Residency report has never been quicker or easier. But why reinvent the wheel? Join us for an exploration of the staff tools behind the new CCCApply: the CCC Report Center and the Administrator.

We will also discuss:
  • OpenCCC / CCCID and how the CCC federated identity initiative will help eliminate duplicate records and tie "swirling" student's data together;
  • How staff can easily build reports, dashboards, and perform analysis via a highly interactive Web-based environment;
  • Setting up rules, terms, and supplemental questions
  • How the CCCHelp Knowledgebase reduces A/R support demands, allowing students to find answers to common questions themselves.

Part III: The IT Project: Technical Scope, Migration & Implementation

Geared towards IT staff and tech-savvy administrators, this Q&A session explores the implementation process behind the new CCCApply, including an open discussion about the project scope, range, time, and resources needed to migrate over to the new CCCApply application.

We will discuss:
  • Setting up Authorization and authentication of staff accounts via the new CCC federated identity initiative;
  • How to setup and schedule downloads that match your current format and import processes
  • Creating rules, emails, and supplemental questions
  • The Report Center and Administrator;
  • Implementation process and guides.
